Salicylic acid (SA)(Cas No.:69-72-7) is a multi-functional endogenous phytohormone implicated in the growth, development, and metabolism of many plant species.
Salicylic acid (SA, ortho-hydroxy benzoic acid) (Cas No.:69-72-7) is a phenolic compound found in many plants . SA and the associated derivatives play an important role in defence responses and the regulation of various physiological and developmental processes in plants growing under normal and stressful environmental conditions. Plant physiological processes regulated by SA are photosynthesis, stomatal movements, enzyme activities, nutrient uptake, legume nodulation, and overall plant growth and development (seed germination, vegetative growth, flowering, and senescence).
